By participating in a session with The Salty Finn Sauna, you acknowledge that sauna bathing and cold water exposure are immersive, nature-based experiences that carry inherent risks.

Please read the following carefully before participating.

Use at Your Own Risk

• Use of the sauna is undertaken entirely at your own risk.

• Exposure to high temperatures may result in dehydration, dizziness, fainting or other health-related complications.​

• You are responsible for monitoring your own wellbeing at all times and exiting the sauna if you feel unwell.

​

Medical Conditions

• You should not use the sauna if you have any medical condition that may be affected by heat exposure, including (but not limited to);

  • suffer from high or low blood pressure

  • any heart or circulatory disorder

  • epilepsy or diabetes;

  • are pregnant; or

  • dizziness or fainting.​

• You should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional prior to sauna use.​

• By participating, you confirm that you are physically fit and able to safely engage in sauna use.

​

Cold Water Immersion (Ocean / Plunge)

• Any cold water immersion is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.​

• Natural water environments, including the ocean, present dynamic conditions such as waves, currents, uneven surfaces, marine life, and sudden temperature changes.​

• You are responsible for assessing your own ability and the conditions before entering the water.

• You confirm that you are a capable swimmer and can safely enter and exit the water without assistance.

Behaviour & Safety

• The sauna is a drug, alcohol, and smoke-free environment.​

• All participants must follow staff instructions and safety briefings at all times. The Salty Finn Sauna reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who is intoxicated or deemed to pose a risk to themselves or others. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.

Clothing & Personal Belongings​

• Appropriate clothing (such as swimwear) must be worn at all times, including during private bookings.​

• Jewellery, particularly metal or hanging items, should be removed prior to sauna use to prevent burns or injury.​

• Personal belongings are brought and stored at your own risk. The Salty Finn Sauna accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage.

​

Children​

• Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.​

• Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to use the sauna.

​

Accessibility​

• Due to the nature of the mobile sauna and varying site conditions, we are currently unable to accommodate wheelchairs or mobility aids.

​

Limitation of Liability​

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Salty Finn Sauna, its owners, operators, and staff are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or death arising from participation in sauna use or associated activities.

• By attending, you agree to release and indemnify The Salty Finn Sauna from any claims arising from your participation.

Bookings, Cancellations & Changes​

• All bookings are non-refundable.

• Rescheduling is permitted with more than 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours will forfeit the booking.

• The Salty Finn Sauna reserves the right to cancel or modify sessions due to weather, safety concerns, or operational requirements. Where appropriate, a reschedule or credit may be offered.

Public Space Use​

• When operating in public locations, we ask that all participants are respectful of the surrounding environment, community, and other patrons.

Changes to Terms​

• Prices, inclusions, and terms may be updated at any time without notice.

​

Privacy and Marketing Communications​

• We collect personal information for the purpose of providing our services. Your information is handled confidentially and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.​

• By opting in, you agree to receive updates, offers, and marketing communications from The Salty Finn Sauna. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Governing Law​

• These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
